Cambodia Comes Out

|
Hey! Our beloved Cambodia is featured on Fridae.com the leading Asian Gay meeting website.

The article:

Cambodia comes out
By Robin Newbold

Cambodia and in particular Siem Reap - gateway to the famous Angkor Wat temple complex - is fast seeing an increase in gay tourism. Former Bangkok-based writer Robin Newbold checks out the scene and reveals what’s in store for gay travelers. Cambodia has got a nasty past. The twisted communist regime, headed by Pol Pot, and administered by his Khmer Rouge came to power in Cambodia in 1975 and wanted to create a nation of peasants where wealth, status and education were irrelevant. People were forced to work in fields or on government-approved building projects, while schools and universities were closed and anyone deemed a threat, from people who spoke a foreign language to those wearing glasses were interrogated and then executed. The authorities were said to have bludgeoned the country “back to the stone age” and a protracted guerrilla war ended only in 1998. But now the nation is reaping the peace dividend and with its chequered history of violence, its crumbling French colonial buildings, saffron-robed monks, ancient temples and newly emergent gay scene, it is at once characterful, edgy and colourful

Hopefully this influx of foreigners, along with the country’s fledgling gay scene, does not mean the country will become a magnet for sex tourists as has happened in certain areas of Thailand because Cambodia, like its neighbour, is tolerant of difference in that it has no laws against homosexuality.

Hate Blog

|
I really hate a queer Vietnamese who roves around and pretend that he owns the whole queer nation of Cambodia.

I don’t want to name names…but well....this is something.

Gossips say that he’s really arrogant and a bitch in some places.

Hmm…

This is really something.

No Show @ Blue Chilli

|
Sorry guys, no show at Blue Chilli last night and tonight.

It's because Didi, Oak and Ron (the performers) is in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rumors said that they're undergoing on a sex change...lol

But I don't think it's not true.

Well...Let's see when they come back.

And hey! for sure there's no show again next week because of Phe Chuben...
well...i'm not sure yet..

identity

|

Hi there queer folks!

1 day to go and its weekend once again.

Time is really flying for us.

And Phe Chuben is coming.

Where are you going queer friends? I’m going to Vietnam!!!

So any queer tips for me?

This blog is much different to the previous one.

I know I’ve been hiding my real identity for quite some time, and many folks out there want to know more and more about me.

I even built friendship with some readers without knowing the real me.

But I can think help but wonder.

I know there’s a lot queer closet guys who “outed” themselves only here in Phnom Penh, and back then in their real homeland – they’re acting straight.

And that’s also hiding the real them.

Like me, I don’t need to reveal my whole identity because I have my own queer world other than the guy behind Queer Cambodia.

So hopefully you all understand why I don’t reveal my real identity.

And besides, it’s not about me…It’s about Queer Cambodia.

Cheers to the Queer Life!

See you around!

You can talk to me privately at queercambodia@gmail.com

PS: you really made me proud Paddy. Cheers!

Queer Cambodian Love

|
Everyone is asking me about how Cambodians deals with expatriate/ visitors?

Well, the thing that I can say/share is…
They know the term One-Night-Stand, Money & Sex, et. al

Believe me or not, Cambodians are the most mysterious queer folks I’ve ever meet.
Sometime you can’t also figure out what they really want from you.
(Believe me, they’re really hard to read)

Even ask them about sex. They don’t even bother answering; they just do what they look they should do.

Some people says, Cambodians (Khmer) queer folks is easy to fell inlove with the folks they had sex with. That’s not true! Maybe some, but for sure NO!

They know the drill…I know you think they’re ignorant regarding queer life.
But hey! they know the queer money (users) life.

I’m not bitter.
I’m just stating a fact.
Trust me.

And PS: they’re not a good kissers, so why bother? lol

Agree or Disagree? send me your thoughts at queercambodia@gmail.com

O'russei Market : Definitely a queer place!

|

I went to O'russei Market and surprise surprise!!!
Queer Macho guys roving around showing their queerness.

And it’s not the rich queer guys, but the guys who work there as carriers.
OMG!

I saw 2 guys touching each other’s balls and hugging.
In a little I was aroused. lol
Because of their sweaty body and their faces that you can see their hunger (lust).

Definitely a must-see here in Phnom Penh.
Queer..queer! QUEER!!!!

Go there around 3-5pm…at the back of the O'russei Market.
We never know, maybe you can pick them up. lol

Amam the Gay Sauna of Phnom Penh

|
I’ve been checking my hits of my blog and the most popular is my blog about AMAM the very best gay sauna here in Phnom Penh.

So I want to give you more informative details about the said place. And lets start it from how to get there, so here is the map, hope I can help your urges to get there. lol

20A rue 390, Phnom Penh

From the city it will cost you 3,000 Riels or .75 USD, just give the exact money for no argument purposes.

For the first timers, don’t look that it’s your first time because they’ll charge you 1 USD higher, but the owner is a bit close to his customers that’s why it’s really hard to pretend.

The real prices are: 3 USD for Asians and 6 USD for Westeners.

You can also go there without entering the Sauna, just sit at the bar and have your beer, coke or mixed drinks. Mixed drinks cost 2.5 USD, Beer for 1.5 USD and the coke doesn’t have definite price, sometimes 1 USD and sometimes 1.5 USD.

There’s also a fact that free entrance after 9pm…that’s not true! because they’re close in that time. Amam starts at 4pm. Opens every Wednesday to Sunday.

What to expect? A dark sauna room…of course and shower rooms in the ground floor, a viewing room, gym and 2 private rooms, a condom and lube dispenser at the 1st floor. A Jacuzzi at the roof deck.

So that’s it! Hope I help you queer folks about your journey to Amam.

Go there on weekends if you want a more than 3 fun, go there by Wednesday & Thursday if you want to meet discreet folks. lol

So see you there!

Ciao!

Send me your Amam story and tips at queercambodia@gmail.com

Oh! It’s wednesday! lets go! lol
