The Naming Game

I'm Laughing Hard right now.
This week had past, I received a lot of emails guessing who's the gay guy behind QueerCambodia.
That means - you're guessing who am I.

So I want to share people emailed me, and that's why i'm laughing hard right now.

Oak - people is having the thoughts of i'm the owner of Blue Chilli. Well, can be...lol

Sokha - Oak's partner in life and owner in Blue Chilli. Well, I don't know if the gay level of Sokha and Me are the same.

James - well, I really don't know why I received emails that i'm James.

Theara - people thought that because I put Theara's (Mr. Blue Chilli) picture in Valentines Day, people thought that i'm him. Well..sorry not.

XOXO - it's not my name...hello? LOL

Franco - before it was James and now Franco. Gosh! don't you have guess like Melanie or Anne...LOL

And I had emails threatened me that they'll have my picture posted here. Oh dear!!! you're such a delightful fan indeed. LOL

So whoever there has guess...just send me an email at queercambodia@gmail.com

Well, I told you before. It's not the guy behind is the real deal here. It's the colorful life in Cambodia - QueerCambodia!!!

Love y'all!

It's Summertime Cambodia!

Yesterday, me and my friends were trying to find where to dip ourselves on water so, we decided to walk around the city of Phnom Penh to find where to swim.

First, we went to our favorite place - The Pavilion (#227 St. 19) but it's full. So we went to Billabong Hotel (#5 St.158) - also full, they can't take walk in as for yesterday.

Damn! Is it the high season of Phnom Penh, Cambodia??

So Speaking of places to swim, yes...beach is the best place- Sihanoukville (Kampong Som) where the Serendipity and Ochhuteal Beach is located at. But here in Phnom Penh there are severals swimming areas you can use and cruise gay men..or just swim to release the heat.

VIP Sports Club at #227 Norodom Blvd is nice to do swim and other sports activities (I also heard that some discreet gays come there to do sports and cruise)

The swimming pool at the Manor House #21 St.262 is also a must visit - because you don't need to pay for the entrance - just buy a drink and you may use their pool.

L' Imprevu is also a relaxing place (National Road No.1, 7km after Monivong Bridge)

If you have children with you...Villa Langka (#14 St.282) is the best place.

So, after touring you guys to all the swimming place that I do know here in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Me and my friends had our the best time cruising cute visitors of the Himawari Hotel (#313 Sisowath Quay) - it's 10 USD if you're a walk-in but they do have membership packages.

So that's it for now my beloved friends!!!
Until the next dip!

The Others

|
Hi there everyone?

Just received a few lines from some of my followers asking me how do I feel with the other gay blogs that's just created a while ago.

And the blogs they're talking about are the Khmer Scene and Cambodia Out.

To be clear, i'm not those two - but for what I can see the creator of those blogsite is just 1 person.

Anyway, I really don't know what to react - QueerCambodia started last year October and we experienced a lot of things while doing this. And for me, I personally put some comments and personal description in every blog that I make in order my readers will feel or make their own thought while reading my posts.

I don't feel competition with them, besides I want to promote them, eventhough some of the blogs are the same as mine. But for me, i'll help them - the people I should be angry with are the people who's against GLBT - in that case I should be angry, right???

And infairness to them, they put my link in their link bar. Thank you!!!

Moving on...hopefully I answered your queries my beloved friends!!

Party tonight??? I might be at FLY Lounge (ST.148)! :-D

Massages in Phnom Penh

|
I want a Massage!!!

Skin to skin touch…
The force…
The relief….

I love massages especially nowadays that’s too much stress at work!

Moreover, I have some list of must-try massages centre here in Phnom Penh – Gay or straight – depends on my mood if I just want to have plain massage, with some naughty stuff or just cruising with other people who’s having their massage also.

So I’m giving you my list of favorites and some I’ve heard that’s good in massage here in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

My personal favorite is Bliss at St. 240.. they’re really good in oil and aroma massages – it’s not a gay massage centre – they only have 1 guy masseur – I’m promoting Bliss if you’re really want a stress relief massage. The price for an 1 hour starts at 22 dollars.

For gay massage here in Phnom Penh, Cambodia – well it’s not really gay, but mostly gays go there because all of their masseurs are men – OM Massage at St. 278. But I must say the cute boys plus the massage plus 16 dollars (1 hour) = Perfect!!!

I really prefer OM Massage for my gay folks out there especially if you want a stress relief after touring around, rather than (now closed) Khmer Town where the boys just teasing (making you horny) you.

I’ve also heard about the massages with slight cruising scene in Hatha Khmer at St.94 and Romantic Spa at St.350 (that will be having its branch at Siem Reap, Cambodia) but I haven’t tried it yet. I also heard Red Spa (I don’t know the address)

For a professional massage (not gay) I’ve heard Amara Spa at Riverside (infront of the Riverhouse Lounge) is also nice…

So that’s it my friends!!!
Gosh! The week had past is so much stressful!!

I want a massage!!! and great sex afterwards…lol

Who can give me one???

Weeks ago, I bumped with Trung (former Green Flame Bar owner - Fact: Green Flame is now closed) and he invited me to attend the opening of his new business on March 14.

The Green Garden Guesthouse open its doors last Saturday.

And here are the photos:

Sorry guys, i'm kinda late in that event so I don't took pictures of the people who attended.

Trung said that Frank (German) is the real owner - he's just setting up the bar and cafe part of it.

Cool isn't?

POV: Old and Young Gay Guy

|
There’s a lot of issues going on in the gay life, and one of them is the sexual relationship between an old guy and a young guy. Well let’s be specific here – we’re talking here about young as in young – around 15, 16… it means it’s not legally 18.

I know, people have different point of views in this topic. Some people say that it’s the young guy’s fault..because it’s not rape – because the young guy let the old guys to do that to them. Some people are thinking it’s both parties’ fault.

For me, it’s like this, if you not put opportunity to a person to do things that he or she should be not doing – so there’s no problem. It’s like relationship, if you let one (or three) guy(s) flirt with you even you are committed – it’s your problem per se. Because it’s your decision too - you have the final choice.

In the point of the topic, you know these guys who works in massages are young, no money to go to the school, etc…I know some friends there hasn’t have the thought of asking the age by means of just having the pleasure. but still, please..please..you’re the one who’s responsibility of taking actions. Especially with these young guys. They’ll not work if you don’t give them opportunity. know to blame are the owners of this massage parlor (That’s another blog to write)

So, don’t give b*llsh*t explanations that these young guys like what they’re doing…let me highlight it – Y-O-U-N-G!!!! as in they don’t have the define and concrete decision in life, they are young, fresh and innocent…equality that they’re confuse.. so please if you wanna have some fun..pick the right one, ok??

I’m not being a mother here, let’s just say..I have my opinion.

Because life of these young folks is too early to ruin.
You guys! react to this topic here or email me at queercambodia@gmail.com

I love you all.

Cheers to the gay life!

PS: Be safe on going out tonight!!!! it’s Friday the 13th…don’t pick young!

POV – in short of Point of view

Juram at FCC

|
FCC roof terrace

FCC building , 363 Sisowath Quay , Phnom Penh

FCC is featuring Juram – solo rock guitarist.. cute & hot! lol
Anyway, if you’re up to Rock your Friday the 13th go there!!!

Cheers y’all

The term – Gay Friendly

|
Part of my vacation is because of this word – “Gay Friendly”

People who’s been reading my blogs – and reacting good and bad.
And taking this term into an explanation.

Well, Blue Chilli is a gay-friendly bar – but for what I see the term should be “Straight Friendly” rather than “Gay Friendly”.

Likewise to the other establishments that called themselves a Gay Friendly business.

Got my point? Very odd.

Anyway, my point is..it’s like you’re not embracing your business by saying you’re a proud gay establishment.
Well that’s me.

Anyway, it’s just a thought. No debate. I’m an open minded person.

But I want to acknowledge my friend who owns Fly Lounge…he prefers not to put label on his bar – it’s not only for straight, it’s not only for gays, it’s not for expats and not labeled as khmer – It’s a Bar!

_____

Out of the topic:

Friends, give me time to establish my sort of “Straight Friendly” Blog. I’m arranging stuff, new home and better place to search on…

And maybe next week, I’m starting to put the latest happening about the colorful life here in Cambodia.

_____

Phnom Penh Gay Pride update: QueerCambodia and Blue Chilli bar is doing creatives for the Phnom Penh Gay Pride. And there’s a meeting again this coming Saturday – same place before.

That’s all.

What’s up y'all!

|
We need to catch up my colorful friends!

There’s a lot in store for everyone… Like the new branch of Romantic gay sauna in Siem Reap, the new sort of gay hotel house called Green Garden House that will be opening this week, the Phnom Penh Pride that’s on its way planning, exhibitions in Meta-House, the Vagina Monolugue…OMG…We really need to catch up.

But for now, I want to thank you all guys for helping me to decide if I need to pursue this blog.

Now, I have better plans and new cool stuff to talk about about the colorful life in Cambodia, for the meantime give me time to renovate the new home as you can see I changed the logo, and soon we’ll talk not only about gays, but also considering our lesbian, bi, discreet and closeted friends.

So if you have some thoughts you want me to feature or personality you want to be interviewed, please let me know – email me at queercambodia@gmail.com and I’ll see what I can do.
