hi! any information on the lead actors? links to interviews and their background will be appreciated :) i've been trying to look online but no luck so far. i'm also looking for other people who have seen and blogged about the movie. it would be nice if you could point me to them :) anyway, conrats cambodia!
The lead actresses are Ny Monica and Keo Sreyneang. Ny Monica plays a Cambodian actress in the film. Keo Sreyneang plays a Cambodian-American woman who travels to Cambodia to meet Ny Monica's character. I haven't seen the movie, but I heard from native Khmers who have seen it and they said it was pretty good.
to me this's the most nicest khmer movie ive seen. Ive seen it alreay. Awesome!They both Ny Monica and Keo Sreyneang performed very good. hahaha... I saw Keo Sreyneang in front of the theater while i was leaving there.
For me i have seen this movie. Nice plots, nice choice of actors, nice scripts and facial expression.
Sreyneang's behavior is considerably to be a bit overwhelmed ( for kissing and hugging) and yeah still she did her best here.
In whatever condition, the producer, the crews as well as actors and actress must have worked their talents out. I appreciate that. As we all have known that lesbian is kinda taboo to all khmer people. I have watched it (Yesterday) and i have heard how the old people who were sitting next to me talking, gossiping and watever they can to say, ( what the hell is that why you want to live with the girl (same sex))? lolzzz..Kinda weird..
Finally, this is my point toward those people, they were watching the truth which is hidden behind the walls and they were trying to ignore and trying to deny that it's there! Face up. We live our own life. You want yours and others also want theirs. RIght people?
