Hi everyone!

Hope you are all excited about Phnom Penh Pride- there is certainly a lot of excitement from our side! Please do get yourselves to Phnom Penh form the 11-17th May and make this Pride amazing!

This is our official Pride Line Up:

Art exhibition & Film Screenings!!!


On Tuesday 12th May, META House will be launching the Phnom Penh Pride film festival and an art exhibition entitled "Gender and Sexuality" at 6pm. The exhibition is open every day from 2pm-10pm and it continues until 6th June.

Every night from 12th-17th there will be LGBT film screenings. The first at 6pm will be in Khmer or with subtitles. The second, at 8pm will be in English. Final programme yet to be confirmed so please check META House website closer to the time.

Social Nights!!!

Wednesday 13th May: Men's Health Social Services (MHSS) will be hosting the opening show and party on at their venue on Street 95 (near Toul Sleng) from 9.30pm

Thursday 14th: the party will be at Pontoon for Gloryhole, Phnom Penh's only regular gay club night (Sisowat Quay, The Riverside, opposite street 108) from 10.00pm

Friday 15th: Blue Chilli Street 178 will be presenting an extra special drag show from 10.00pm.

Saturday 16th: the Official Pride Party will be at Pontoon with a fabulous show and dancing from 9.00pm until the early hours!!

Sunday 17th: there is a chance to chill out and recover, with a picnic at Pontoon on Sunday afternoon. Bring your own food and drink from 4.00pm.

Sunday 17th: Salt Lounge will be organising a Mr. Gay Cambodia Contest, where the King (or Queen!) of Phnom Penh Pride 2009 will be crowned. (Just off the river front, #217 Street 136)

Workshops for LGBT community!!!

Saturday 16th NGOs who support LGBT community in Cambodia will workshops for Cambodia's LGBT community. Times and venue to be confirmed. Please keep checking our website for updates!
