It's Summertime Cambodia!

|
Yesterday, me and my friends were trying to find where to dip ourselves on water so, we decided to walk around the city of Phnom Penh to find where to swim.

First, we went to our favorite place - The Pavilion (#227 St. 19) but it's full. So we went to Billabong Hotel (#5 St.158) - also full, they can't take walk in as for yesterday.

Damn! Is it the high season of Phnom Penh, Cambodia??

So Speaking of places to swim, yes...beach is the best place- Sihanoukville (Kampong Som) where the Serendipity and Ochhuteal Beach is located at. But here in Phnom Penh there are severals swimming areas you can use and cruise gay men..or just swim to release the heat.

VIP Sports Club at #227 Norodom Blvd is nice to do swim and other sports activities (I also heard that some discreet gays come there to do sports and cruise)

The swimming pool at the Manor House #21 St.262 is also a must visit - because you don't need to pay for the entrance - just buy a drink and you may use their pool.

L' Imprevu is also a relaxing place (National Road No.1, 7km after Monivong Bridge)

If you have children with you...Villa Langka (#14 St.282) is the best place.

So, after touring you guys to all the swimming place that I do know here in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Me and my friends had our the best time cruising cute visitors of the Himawari Hotel (#313 Sisowath Quay) - it's 10 USD if you're a walk-in but they do have membership packages.

So that's it for now my beloved friends!!!
Until the next dip!

I knew this is gonna happen.
I just received an email from a guy (i'll not state his name, for his privacy) And shared what he thought is true.

The email stated this:

Subject: Misrepresentationof a fine hotel

While I appreciate the ever expanding services and voices of the emerging Gay community here in Cambodia of which your site and blog is one, I must say that I was shocked to read your review of the Manor House Hotel.

I have been a customer of the Manor house hotel for two years as I live in Cambodia and own a hotel in Sihanoukville. I can tell you that you have misrepresented the Manor House terribly in your blog. You may certainly NOT "fuck your brains out in the pool". The manor house is a Gay Friendly establishment that caters to a wide variety of people straight and gay, business people, families and tourists as well as us Expats. The owners run a very well managed and respectable business. I would urge you to contact the owners and visit it yourself to see that your blog has done a disservice to the Manor House and very likely may have cost them business.

I am sure you meant no harm but you have been very badly misinformed about the kind of establishment the Manor House is.

While I value freedom of speech, I believe it comes with the responsibility to make sure you have your facts correct. This is especially true if you write any kind of publicly read magazine, blog or other type of publication.

In the interest of fairness, accuracy and good journalistic ethics please contact the owners so they can more accurately inform you of the type of hotel the Manor House really is. This is a small community and we should be supporting each other in positive ways.

We look forward to your correction of that article and wish you the best in the future.

---end---

Ok, nothing to explain. Right?
I was wrong.

I'm so sorry, especially to the owners of Manor House, it's just an expression to put a little spice into the review, I'm so sorry. Apologies. I know it's the responsibility that come through everything that you do.

And yes, I do believe in supporting each other through whatever because gay community, especially here in Cambodia is little. Once again, my sorry.

And to be fair, after doing the blog, I had tons of question regarding Manor House, and I can't do any but to give your contact details.

Hope everything clear.

Love and Peace.

Queer Cambodia is so Gay!

Need to blog this stuff to answer your queries.
I saw the keyword that mostly people are using about Gay Cambodia, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, etc…and you (yes you!) land on my blog.

So I thought of making it easy for you all gay guys!!!

Sauna for Gay Siem Reap – there’s no Sauna there! Just massage and Spa. Go to Linga Spa!

Naga World, Cambodia – are you looking for the casino? or do you know what’s happening outside Naga? like the money boys chilling outside in the parks? lol

Phnom Penh Callboys – there’s a lot here, especially at night at the park, but you can also find them at Blue Chilli Bar or Heart of Darkness.

Fly Lounge Cambodia – Yes! it’s their opening tomorrow (Feb.14). So there! I’ll be there for sure!

Glory Hole Cambodia – It’s a party at Pontoon Lounge every Thursday, for me nothing much to see. I hate the drag show there.

Lady Boys Cambodia – Do you mean drag shows? Classic Bar is best for it.

Male Massage Phnom Penh – I recommend OM Massage at St.278, great massage and cute boys, you can also try Hatha Khmer and Hey! the Khmer Town is closed already…last January.

Pontoon Cambodia Ladies’ Night every Wednesday and Gay Glory Hole every Thursday, DJ’s every Friday & Saturday.

Last Day of Elsewhere Bar Phnom Penh February 27 is the last of last day of Elsewhere at St. 51. I’ll post soon the last first Friday. Gosh! I’m so bugged about the term “first” and “last” here.

Manor House Cambodia – Because you said so, I’ll make another review and promote the only gay hotel/ guesthouse in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Gay Cambodia Blog – Hello? is there other queer blog here? only QueerCambodia.

So that’s it for now my beloved colorful friends.
Hope I answered all of your questions.
And thanks for the great response!

Be fabulous as always!
Love y’all!
