Facts about Khmer New Year
I had gathered three facts about Khmer (Cambodian) New Year, that might interest you guys.
1st is that before the New Year, teenagers are playing games at night with some certain games – this is like their mating system, where guys find their partners and everything will start from there. (How classy, right??)
2nd is teenagers go to some Wats (pagodas) to dance – and from here if they’ll someone, they will marry the soonest – I forgot the exact time, it’s like 30 days after (I think)
3rd some lady boys (boys dressed up like girls) go also at some Wats to find their man. (Awwww…)
So that’s it, some facts about the Khmer New Year. Let’s play tonight!!!! LOL
